I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults. I enjoy supporting clients who are looking to discover their own true voice and identity. I have experience working with a range of concerns such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, phase of life transitions, and adjustments related to entering and succeeding in college. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist and have received extensive training in providing gender expansive care.
I collaborate with my clients to determine which evidence-based strategies and methods will be the most beneficial for each individual and their goals. I utilize techniques from a variety of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I enjoy finding ways to be creative and incorporate each individual’s interests and passions into therapy sessions.
My therapy style is rooted in an interactive and collaborative approach. My number one priority is to create an affirming and non-judgemental environment to foster self-understanding, healing, and growth. As a therapist, I have a calm and easy-going personality. I offer warmth, gentleness, and humor in my sessions.
