Hey there!

I’m Samantha and it would be my honor to walk alongside you on your journey! I believe healing happens in the context of safe, authentic human connection. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that every person deserves to feel understood without judgment. I work from a person-centered and relational framework while integrating evidence-based approaches including DBT, CBT, and trauma-informed care.

I am particularly passionate about working with individuals dealing with trauma/PTSD, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders. My goal is to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves while creating meaningful and lasting change. I value creating a therapeutic space that feels genuine, empowering, and emotionally safe. I am also able to incorporate faith/spiritual work into therapy upon request.

I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Boston College as well as a Master of Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill. I completed over 1,000 hours of clinical work and training through UNC Psychiatry during my time as a master’s student.

When not in the office, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, trying new restaurants, traveling, listening to music, and playing with my 8lb maltipoo dog, Pepper!
